United Plugins have released WideFire, a new plugin that is available as a free download until March 18. After this period, the price will increase to €9.00, with a further increase to €29.00 on May 1. The plugin is free for all existing DarkFire users, as the DarkFire license unlocks WideFire.
A Unique Audio Widening Approach
WideFire is derived from DarkFire, focusing on a core feature requested by users. It introduces an innovative stereo widening technique that goes beyond traditional wideners. The plugin provides a natural and immersive stereo field while maintaining excellent mono compatibility. Additionally, it can generate stereo content from mono sources, making it a versatile tool for music producers.
Analogue-Style Saturation with Advanced Widening
Like DarkFire, WideFire is an analogue-style saturator plugin with a unique function. After saturating the signal, the added harmonics are separated, widened through a dedicated algorithm, and blended back with the original signal. This process enhances the audio’s spatial depth without compromising clarity.
