Expanded Sound Design Capabilities
Serum 2 extends the wavetable synthesis engine with multiple oscillator types, providing advanced tools for sound designers and musicians. The Wavetable Oscillator has been refined with Smooth Interpolation Mode, enabling near-infinite frame positions without morphing. It also features FM, phase distortion, ring modulation, and new warp modes for deeper sound manipulation.
The new Multisample Oscillator allows for real instrument replication, with a built-in library of recordings from orchestras, choirs, pianos, guitars, and more. Users can also import their own multisamples using the SFZ format.
