Martinic is celebrating Bandcamp Friday with a special giveaway: the Lem Echo Music plugin is available as a free 3-month Trial Plus license until October 6, 2025. It’s a faithful emulation of a vintage Italian tape delay unit, and this limited-time offer is a great excuse to explore its warm, nostalgic character, especially if you’re into retro textures or organ-style effects.
Tape Delay With Character
Lem Echo Music recreates the sound of three tape playheads running across a single strip of tape, complete with wow and flutter, as well as subtle degradation. Originally used by organists in the 1960s and 1970s, this type of delay became a signature sound for layered, atmospheric performances.
Martinic’s version nails the sound but also includes modern upgrades, extended parameter controls, added tone shaping, and a two-channel mixer that lets you dial in exactly the vibe you’re after.
Features
- Authentic emulation of the Lem Echo Music tape delay
- 3 playheads (80 ms, 210 ms, 330 ms)
- 7 delay tap combinations
- 9.5-second total tape loop length
- Wow and flutter modeling
- Wet mix and feedback controls
- Bass and treble tone shaping
- 2-channel mixer
- Classic VU meter display
- Also found in the Elka Panther plugin
Vintage Vibe, No Strings Attached (For Now)
This isn’t a stripped-down demo; the Trial Plus license gives you full plugin functionality for three months. It’s a great way to test it in your setup and see how it fits into your workflow. If you like it, you can grab it later as part of Martinic’s Retro Pack bundle.
