KiTiK.dev has released Krush, a free spectral crusher plugin that offers a unique approach to sound processing. Designed as an experiment in spectral processing, it delivers creative and unexpected results for producers and sound designers.
Unique Spectral Processing
Unlike traditional bitcrushers or distortion effects, Krush manipulates sound in the spectral domain, creating textures and sonic variations that stand out.
The author says “Krush is a spectral ‘Crusher’ that sounds like nothing you’ve heard before (or at least I haven’t heard before). I’m diving into the realm of spectral processing and here is my first go at it. This was more of training exercise for me than anything, but I thought the results sounded cool, so I thought I’d share!”.
System Compatibility
Krush is available in VST3 and AU formats, making it compatible with both Windows and macOS.
