EVA Instruments has launched Kalimba, a free kalimba instrument plugin available as a VST3/AU plugin and Kontakt library. It’s the second release in their Play Collection, a series of lightweight, expressive virtual instruments offered completely free of charge.
Kalimba delivers a deeply sampled African thumb piano sound, recorded via both tine and resonator mics for authentic tone. Its minimal interface includes only the essentials, making it easy to load and play without setup hassles.
